In the late 1930s Hitler began to withdraw Jews form Germany and in my opinion the government in 1984 was doing the same thing. Hitler took Jews lifes away and would send them to horrible camps. In a way the same thing would happen to the people in Oceania. Winston, the briny character was sent away for breaking the rules and there he was beat and locked up.
