By doing this, I potently felt the children were exposed to science and social studies through a countless number of perspectives and instead of compartmentalizing subjects, their learning became more quiet and interrelated. They were reading, writing and thinking about content while building different skills that help them improve their understanding of academic subject areas. 2.

) This lesson has opened my eyes to the possibilities of using the research methods and technology in motivational teaching using thematic units on a more regular basis.  This lesson has encouraged me to do more with the research in my units and it has encouraged me to work harder to prepare for my units in education.  I often think of myself as a motivator, but alone by preparing this lesson with some time and thought, I really feeling that my students got more out of the unit than if I had just granted them the traditional instructions.  It means a significant amount to me as an instructor and professional to see my students improve their learning throughout the course of a unit.
