As technology has constitute more advanced it has become harder for the average user to keep-up, sparking the need for divine service returnss in the IT area. Today without a strong support backbone, an IT environment cannot be expected to operate at its full potential.

The implementation of a help desk at Charles Sturt University will provide many services to benefit twain staff and students. This will increase productiveness across the board by minimising downtime caused by IT issues. How these services are delivered is also important as the nature of queries can disaccord in scale and importance, and the help desk must handle these differing service requests efficiently.
