 This chapter provides us with a new grammar item  a/an, some, each and 3 exercises to practice that. We can non say it is the worst grammar practice ever, thither are some advantages, however the crucial points are not personateed correctly.
First of all, we question the description in exercise 3. It is alternatively vague, and students instead of being guided are even much confused. Then, they are bound to do the task (although they hardly have a go at it how to fill the gaps correctly) that, as well, does not make the things clear. However, if they avail of a wide range of various exercises… No, unfortunately, it is just my imagination. There is no variety in the written exercises, the next exercise is soon enough an otherwise gap filling… What is the point?
On the other hand, we like the context which the grammar bit is introduced in. Hard Rock coffeehouse is an up-to-date and appealing subject, students will enjoy it. And, at the lay off of the day, there is some oral practice in pairs which is unendingly more interactive and perhaps easier to acquire new grammar items.
on the whole things considered, although we can perceive some merits, we do not advise this chapter as a good grammar practice, because of the lack of an exhaustive explanation as well as variety of materials to practice.

The items this unit proposes in order to help the student learn the use of a/an/some/any, though of a wide range, reduce the payoff to a set of axioms that the student has to assimilate as the unit develops, as if the student had to acquire the knowledge in a pre arranged time by the end of the lesson.
The theory boxes present the matter as if the examples where enough to cover all possibilities; not only they fail but also the student whitethorn think of it as a straightforward guideline, leading him into cloudiness whenever the case does not match the one in the box.
