Introduction

Over the centuries many theologians and philosophers tried to make reason of the
World, creation and the universe, God, this same read/write head occupied the minds of many thinkers and scholars alike. A number of classic arguments prevail world developed, some accepted by the church, but non all arguments have its origin in Christian school of feeling and theological system. Contributions have being made by Muslim and Judaic philophers of religion, other influences by Aristotle and Plato also have made contribution. In resent times an interest in natural theology and philosophy have grown. Most of us have thought of the question does God exist? Some would conceptualise on that point is a God and leave it at that, others would go by the motions of their faith, there are some also would search to interchange their faith. In society on the other hand there are a number of people who would ridicule the Christian faith, from a Christian point of view trust in God who cant be fully explained. We who title of respect to be Christian also believe we have being transformed by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we often apply the word salvation as it has a number of meanings e.g.



pocket from danger or delivered from a fatal illness, as Christians we believe our salvation is a response of Gods unconditional love for us. St Anselm believed strongly in the Christian faith, in his quest to make sense of it all. Anselm used the logical principal, he invites us all as believers to question, to think, and to learn, and we have the doctrines of the church, the Bible, in seeking the truth. We will look shortly on Anselms earlier life and reflect on the Bible Gen 1-3, and examine the theory of Anselm and seek a important reflection Why God became Man.
