To understand the emotions and actions of the characters inside of Hamlet is intimately impossible without living in its time. The culture has changed so drastically, that we may never be suitable to understand some of the characters actions. on that point is no end of perspectives as to why the Queen was able to shake off the demise of her husband as if it was nothing, and in the meantime tell her son Hamlet there is no reason to withal be saddened by his generates death simply three months after the fact. The same happens everyplace speculations about if Hamlet is truly crazy or not. And how could digging graves cause someone to become so disrespectful, and cold hearted as to toss a human skull around as if it was a game? The true reason for each characters psychic anguish may never be known, but there are many possible answers.
The Queen comes off as a greedy, selfish, lustful, power thirsty woman inside of the play. after the death of her husband, Hamlet Sr. she is quick to remarry the wise King, her late husbands Brother. While not only world cruel and disrespectful to her late husbands memory, she also is careless towards her son as he is still grieving only three months later over the death of his father.
It is possible that this was all caused by the death of her husband, but we leave alone never know. The death could have caused her to become over impaired with sadness, and in that event her mind was left vulnerable towards Claudius, so it was easy to fall in love with him, and even easier to be given on from the death of her husband.
Hamlets decent into craziness starts off with grief. In the beginning he is awfully saddened by the death of his father, and then sees the ghost of his father. The ghost informs Hamlet that his fathers death was caused by his brother poisoning him as he slept. This sends Hamlet into his spiral that is first conceived as him being driven mad by his love for the beautiful Ophelia.
