Omar Nelson Bradley was born in a log cabin conterminous Clark, second on February twelfth 1893; he was the only living child of schooltimeteachers tail end and Sarah Bradley. Omars life in Missouri was impoverished although he received a very uncorrupted education starring as a player on Moberly High school baseb all team. As high school came to an end his Sunday school superintendent recommended he prevail for West point. later placing first in the exams in St. Louis he received an appointment from Congressman William M. Rucker to enter the academy in fall of 1911.
While at WestPoint Omar played Baseball and football and managed to finish 44th in his class of 164, He letter both in football and baseball. Omar graduated from WestPoint on June 12th 1915 coming out as a second deputy sheriff in pes. Three months later Omar joined the 14th pes regiments third battalion at fort George Wright near Spokane Washington. Crisis in brief broke out putting Bradleys military skills to their first, when the courteous fight in Mexico broke out over the leeway into the United States; Americans led by Brigadier General John J. Pershing marched into Mexico on the pursuit of the Mexican rebel Pancho Villa, among them was the 14th infantry which was stationed at fort Douglas in Arizona.
Although Bradley did not see proceeding he learned about handling troops in field conditions and maintaining discipline, Morals and training in unfavorable circumstances.
After the crisis with Mexico passed Bradley and his regiment stayed stationed in the southwest, until after the United States declared war on the German empire. The 14th regiment was stations in Yuma, Arizona when we formally entered into World War 1. Very unawares after Bradley was promoted to Captain, rather than the regiment moving to Europe they were reproducible to stay in the pacific North West.
