Shyness Article (Extra Credit)
The term The Power of Shyness in Time magazine rattling left an impression on me after I deal it. It discussed the several issues that mess who ar considered introverts face in day-after-day situations from the classroom to the workplace. The article really made me think slightly situations I assimilate been in with concourse who were shy, and now it withstands to a greater extent sense to me why people act this way. I have always been the opposite of an introvert, which in the article I well- interpret is called an extrovert. I was always in the school and church plays, consolatory at pep rallies and football games, and dancing on stage, or even dancing on the center of a football field at a bowl game in front of thousands of people, so reading about people who be in fact the opposite of me really opened up my eyes.
As the article stated, most of America is based more or less people that are extroverted, but really people that are introvert have a lot to bring to the dental plate that most people would not think of. For example, people who are introverts think things through more thoroughly and cause them to make smarted and better decisions.
Introverts are also better people at listening, and tend to have only a hand wax of close friends, but they have a very significant bond with those people. Even in a classroom setting, harmonise to the article, many children that are introverts tend to be ignored or given less attention from the teacher rather than a very outgoing extroverted child. This is a very adjust situation because looking back at my years in high school I can remember this happening. It is not a fair thing to do, and I believe if everyone would read this article and gain more knowledge about people that are shy, then the teachers may start giving children standardised that more attention because those children can be some of the smartest.
