Abstract
by and by reading over the Georgia Department of Corrections yearbook Report for 2007, I decided to research a fewer of the Re-entry initiatives. These initiatives were put in place with the purpose of reducing recidivism. place of the fifteen listed programs, I have chosen to take a closer look at corporeal Take 5 and Grace colonization. I have found several sack up sites that cover each of these programs. I never knew these programs existed. Grace Village is a truly inspiring story of community and determination. Corporate Take 5 is trying to bridge the gap betwixt employers and ex-offenders by offering skilled workers as well as benefits.

Re-entry Services primary purpose is to promote public pencil eraser by assisting offenders to execute a law-abiding, productive citizen. Re-entry should begin as soon as an offender enters the system. Re-entry provides the offender with opportunities to make overconfident changes and contribute to society.
The Goals of re-entry be to give the offender the capacity to become a productive member of his/her family and community, and to refer offenders to services that are necessary for a successful renewing and reentry back into the community. Furthermore, its ending is to increase the community and corrections ability to address the offenders of necessity and identify resources available in the community that meet those needs.
