As an employee I besides have to follow COSHH 2002 (control of substances waste to health) in my workplace. This means I have to follow the procedures set in place by my employer and attend training. I have to make sure any bad substances are kept locked away where unauthorized people cannot go through them.



I also need to dispose of hazardous substances mightily and not mix substances in case of any hazardous fumes or explosions that may occur. I must also never decant chemicals to un designate or wrongly labelled containers. To prevent any accidents or incidents happening with hazardous substances I must ensure I follow the selective information sheets and follow instructions. I must wear the PPE (personal protective equipment) when using substances to negate cross contamination and accidents. I must also propound any defects or ill health that may happen.
