Introduction
In today’s society, I live amongst diametrical people that possess assorted views of ethics and set. The differences are or so often establish upon their how they were raised, their religious background, their race, or gender. These differences can sometimes cause problems during our decision making and can cause troublesome situations to arise in society and on our jobs.
When dealing with distinct types of people, it is important to look that we all have a different view of what is right and wrong. A set of core values that lead and guide our decision making. In order to understand psyche core values, we must first understand their ethics.
The Williams bring in Ethics Awareness Inventory assessment evaluates a psyche respectable style and describes the type of ethical values someone has. The results are different for each individual and are based on the ethical views of one’s: character, obligation, results, and equity; and, it is doable for some to have blended styles which places them into two categories. The key say for each category represents a primary core value that forms a basis for ethical decision making inwardly this ethical attitude (Williams Institute for Ethics and Management, 2009).
After streak the assessment, I found that the results described me as a person who is closely aligned with Character, and least closely aligned with Equity. The results as well said that I tend to base my ethical perspective on what is good to be, rather than what is good to do (The Williams Institute, 2009). My ethical style is based on the ability of individuals to make beneficial moral judgments, relying on exemplary character to make troublesome decisions. It also states that I value such qualities as honesty, wisdom, and rightfulness and you place greater emphasis on demonstration these qualities than on following the rules.
