The removal of the native peoples from their traditional home realms in North America was one of the most devastating propagation for natives in American history. After the American Revolution, life changed for the natives and radical systems were implemented. The main goal of the unify States was to remove the natives from their body politics in tack to expand colonization and also transform natives into the white valets guidance of living. This resulted in massive losses of the land that natives have goted for centuries along with severe declines in the native peoples population. on that point are several factors that played important roles in the reasons for removal along with the impacts it had on the native peoples way of life.
One of the main reasons why natives were removed from their traditional territories has to do with desire for land North America by the United States. Once the United States won its liberty from Britain, it began to construct its own domain in the lands inhabited by natives that Britain had transferred to the United States at the Peace Treaty of 1783. The United States had little regard for the natives who sided with Britain during the extremist War so many were faced with the option of removal or extermination.



After finishing up a state of war it was generally concluded that extermination was too costly and whatever people did not agree with it. Therefore, treaties were used to take land from the native peoples and remove them. The United States adopted the ideology that the natives did not use the land properly by not terra firma and they had too much of it. So in their eyes they were empower to have the right to develop these unfair treaties to get the natives by their land. These treaties were also aimed at putting the natives into reservations to make them more the like white people. Treaties such as the treaty of Big manoeuvre between the Seneca nation and the United States led to massive losses of land.
